Nokia BB5 Unlocking!

Our good friends and partners at PhoneGoods have announced that they are now able to unlock some Nokia BB5 phone models. Nokia BB5 phone models that can be unlocked are listed below and must be sent to PhoneGoods using their 'Postal Unlocking Service'. Simply select a phone model below for further details:

What Is Postal Unlocking?

The service is very simple - you send the Nokia BB5 phone to PhoneGoods and they will remove the network restriction and return the phone to you via Royal Mail Special Delivery the same day! An example of this would be as follows - You send the Nokia BB5 phone to PhoneGoods on Monday and they receive it on Tuesday. They remove the network restriction and send the Nokia BB5 phone back to you via Royal Mail Special Delivery the same day. You receive your phone back on Wednesday.

How Much Does The Service Cost?

Only £12.50! (£20.00 for phones requiring 'Testpoint') - This price includes the cost of the unlock and the cost of return Postage and Packaging! You can pay with any major Credit-Debit Card or simply send a Postal Order with the phone.

What Is A 'Testpoint' Procedure?

The phones above marked with an asterix ( * ) must be unlocked using a 'Testpoint' procedure. - The phone must first be 'Flashed' with specific firmware (you will lose all information stored on the phone, so any important information should be backed-up before sending the handset to PhoneGoods). The phones mainboard is then removed (any warranty left on the phone is lost at this point because the phone has been interfered with). Testpoint wires are then attached to specific points on the mainboard and connected to unlocking equipment to perform the unlock procedure.

Is The BB5 Unlocking Service Available To International Customers?

PhoneGoods regret that the postal unlocking service is available to UK & Ireland customers with a UK or Ireland address only!
