Compatible Handsets:

Please note that unlox.co.uk can only provide unlocking codes for the Nokia handsets as displayed on our Supported Phones page. We cannot provide unlocking codes for any other mobile phone which is not displayed on our Supported Phones page. It is the customers responsibility to make sure that they do not order codes for a non-supported handset. A refund will not be offered or given, in part or in full, to customers who order codes for a non-supported handset.

Supported Networks:

Although unlocking your mobile phone will allow use of alternative networks, unlox.co.uk cannot specify exactly which networks your phone can be used on after unlocking. Certain mobile phones will only allow the use of certain networks even when unlocked. Furthermore, please be aware that some networks lock the SIM card to a specific handset, and therefore the SIM card you intend to use in your phone after unlocking may not operate in any handset other than the original handset with which it came. All customers are advised to check with their handset to make sure that it will allow usage on your intended network, and also to check that the SIM card is not locked to a specific handset. A refund will not be offered or given, in part or in full, to customers who order codes for and subsequently discover that their intended network is not supported by the target phone or the intended SIM card is locked to a specific handset.

Previous Unlock Attempts:

Customers who purchased their phone as a second user unit should pay particular attention to this section. It is very important that the target phone has never been subject to a previous unlocking attempt. Nokia mobile phones will allow only five (5) for older phones and (3) for newer phones, attempts at unlocking with codes, after which the handset can only be unlocked with a cable solution (Data Cable & PC / Unlocking Clip). Unfortunately, unlox.co.uk cannot guarantee the outcome of an attempted unlock with our codes if an unlock has previously been attempted on the target phone. It is the customers responsibility to make sure that they do not order codes for a handset which has been subject to a previous unlocking attempt. A refund will not be offered or given, in part or in full, to customers who order codes for a handset which has been subject to a previous unlocking attempt.

Blocked, Barred or Blacklisted Phones:

unlox.co.uk cannot provide a service for 'UNBLOCKING' any mobile phone. unlox.co.uk can only provide an unlocking service whereby we provide codes which can remove the network restriction on your Nokia mobile phone (e.g. your phone is locked to Vodafone UK, and you want to use an O2 UK SIM card). Phones which have been BLOCKED, BARRED or BLACKLISTED are not supported by our service, and no guarantees can be given to any person submitting the details of a phone which is, or has been BLOCKED, BARRED or BLACKLISTED. It is the customers responsibility to make sure that they do not order codes for a BLOCKED, BARRED or BLACKLISTED handset. A refund will not be offered or given, in part or in full, to customers who order codes for a handset which is BLOCKED, BARRED or BLACKLISTED.

Is Your Phone Already Unlocked?:

unlox.co.uk strongly advises all customers to check if their mobile phone isn't already unlocked, specifically if you are not sure of the phones complete history. It is the customers responsibility to make sure that they do not order codes for a handset which is already unlocked. O2 UK contract customers may want to pay specific attention to this because quite a number of O2 UK contract handsets are unlocked out of the box. A refund will not be offered or given, in part or in full, to customers who order codes for a handset which is already unlocked.
