There are still, despite sites like ours saying otherwise, .Scum Bags. claiming that they can provide software to unlock them.... THEY CANT. We have heard and seen many websites making claims to be able to unlock them.... THEY CANT.

The networks are currently the only people that can unlock these particular handsets and the cost and delivery varies widely. We will of course publish on this website when remote codes are available.

The networks are currently the only people that can unlock these particular handsets and the cost varies widely, however they are getting their act together though with the exception of 3 .Three..

Nokia Codes Instantly

We are currently redeveloping our site to be able to offer INSTANT automated unlock codes. This will be released only when we are 100% certain that it will not cause any problems for existing and propective customers. Our customer service will also improve dramatically as most if not all problems you may face will be dealt with on our website giving you immediate advice and resolutions.

Nokia 6111 Problems

It has come to our attention that Tesco Mobile have released a new batch of the Nokia 6111 that differs slightly in the unlocking process. We can assure our customers that we are well aware of this and our codes have been changed to combat it.

Reduced unlock by code attempts

It is becoming clearer that Nokia or the networks have reduced the number of attempts to unlock by code from 5 to 3 and in some cases 2. This is a new move and will cause chaos. Basically if you make a mistake then you are pretty much screwed and will have to get it unlocked by cable.

Postal Unlocking Service

PhoneGoods based in Morley near Leeds are going from strength to strength, over the last 4 months they have nearly tripled in size and increased the product lines the stock. They are also unlocking many brands of mobile phone and have increased their ability to unlock most brands now. We have NO trouble whatsoever in recommending them to anyone and can really vouch for their prices.

We will continue this update on a monthly basis or whenever possible.
