CellGlide Q-Monitorr, one of the applications available with the CellGlide GPRS Mobile Traffic Shaperr, provides unprecedented visibility of the GPRS user experience. It monitors key performance indicators of service availability and success rate, as well as service QoE parameters for each application within each cell. The Q-Monitor generates real-time alerts when predefined service thresholds may be at risk, along with metrics for comprehensive statistical analysis of the service performance.
QoE
Quality of Experience. The net user experience of data applications due to service quality parameters. The user QoE of different applications is sensitive to different service performance parameters, such as bandwidth, delay or jitter.
QoS
Quality of Service. A broad term to describe the performance attributes of an end-to-end connection. Usually refers to a set of performance parameters that can be directly observed and measured at the point at which the service is accessed by the user.
